Is it normal for a fat guy like myself (5'10" - 230 lbs right now) to jog/run for 4 miles straight everyday on the treadmill and not get physically tired? I mean my shins start hurting a little bit towards the end but I'm never like out of breath or anything.
I have lost 14 pounds in 3 weeks (most of it water weight I'm sure, I used to be 244) and I do lift heavy weights. Just wondering if there is a thing as running too much.
Also I used to be an active soccer player but that was like 10 years ago (I'm 28 now)
Jogging 4 miles means nothing post your minutes per mile

Human beings are designed to travel for long stretches of time at once.

If you're not sweating, yes. You gotta go fast enough to break a sweat.

Do you want a medal?

as someone who sweats buckets. just breaking a sweat doesn't mean you've done enough.

4 miles is more like an estimate. I run for 1 hour and 20 minutes straight (treadmill machine does the 20 minutes run then cools down function) and each 20 minutes section I run between 1.6 to 1.4 miles.

My whole shirt is drenched in sweat that I scare people away with how darkened my shirts become.

Its nothing to write home about, keep it up and you'll post times worth posting. If you aren't panting go faster, honestly I've never seen people run that slow but if you feel its noteworthy good for you.

That phase sounds more like walking than running, m8.

>doing a routine the same for 3 weeks and not trying to go faster, longer, or more inclined.

It's not normal, it's better than normal. It's not fantastic because it's rather slow. It's also been less than a month, so that's a habit I'd recommend you keep up. You should consider switching it up by doing shorter, faster runs and longer runs as well.
