Ok /fit/ this may sound retarded but don't want to do core.

I've been lifting for about almost a year now and honestly have only done core like 10 times. 5'10 from skelly 140 to not so skelly 150 now, but my core is naturally strong and because I'm skinny I always have visible abs.

>100 15lb dumbbell leg lifts = 1 set
>10 min planks (get bored so I stop at 10)

Like do I even need to do core or can I just cut that day out and keep doing an additional chest day? That's probably what I want to develop the most

Yikes, that's going to really limit you. I would recommend squats then, cant do bench and deadlift I assume but those are good for core desu. Also the ab program I follow is:

Situps x 20
Captains chair leglifts × 15
Weighted situps x 5
Plank for 1 min

Repeat 3 if possible

I can deadlift and I do incline & flat dumbbell presses/flys, bench still hurts a bit. I squat 170 3x8 and then 160 to failure but I don't think my form is perfect

Core is generally built best indirectly i.e. through deadlift, squat, some form of bench. Haven't heard anything about dumbbell presses for core but it seems like itd be good. Make sure you are keeping your core tight on these and focus on controlling the whole motion.

go ass to grass, make sure you rotate your hips forward on the way down and concentrate on brining the bar in a straight vertical path down. you should be leaning forward a bit at the top too. also, think about springing your body open and thrusting your hips forward rather than "pushing the weight upwards"
