Assuming you're a guy, most male depression/anxiety is caused by low test. It peaks and troughs. Two big drops in your late 20s and again in middle age. Funnily enough this is also when male suicide peaks.

Started my first cycle 6 weeks ago and I'm currently feeling like I should have done all my life. I'd use steroids for this effect alone frankly, even if they didn't have any effect on muscle.

Fortunately they do, and I've put on over a stone of muscle since I started.

My only regret is waiting until the age of 28 to start.

Exercise (lifting heavy weight) is the only proven way to maintain fluid intelligence into adulthood. Keep that in mind - there are many benefits to lifting.

As for depression, make sure you are getting enough sunlight.

If not that, you probably started working out to improve yourself for something (dating, socializing?) or to run away from something. You need to face things on and immerse yourself in them. Face the fear and acclimatize. That is the only way to grow.

If it's girl shit just go on Tinder and swipe any girl that looks decent. Don't even fuck them (I mean, unless you want to) just go on as many first dates as you can as fast as possible.

Then again, I date around a lot and I'm also depressed and think about killing myself. Maybe it hollowed me out even more than I already was.

If you live in a civilised country like the UK, just go to your GP and ask.

I was already set on doing gear anyway due to being so skinny and struggling to eat enough, so got my levels checked just to see if I could get test free on the NHS. Annoyingly I was just inside the range, albeit with the average levels of an 80yr old man. As my GP explained though, a TRT dose is pretty low, basically a cruise dose, so wouldn't do much in terms of bulking.

My major advice would be to at least tell your GP the truth. Steroids are perfectly legal in the UK and even if they weren't, a doctor has a duty of care. If you start lying and pretending you're not on gear, your doctor will start giving you shit as he'll be at a loss as to explain what is going on if something goes wrong.

Can't discuss sources on here but I'd recommend researching the fuck out of steroids before using. A lot to learn and you can never know enough. You'll learn and pick up info about legit sources as you go.

Not OP, but depression makes it hard to enjoy the things you like. So, that doesn't really work, and if it does help, it's extraordinarily short lived..like a couple hours at the very most.

It helps but there are probably other aspects of your life that are lacking. You need to figure what those are and improve them the way you improved your body.
