How do I fix this during rows. The rest of my back is flat but my but kinda bends down like this. I also get this in my deadlift starting position.

It looks like you're not hinging at the hips and bending your back instead. Increase your flexibility or just bend over less when doing rows.

part of that is your lower back muscle but try to stick your but out more. Think lordosis

Start a flexibility program for overall flexibility (Google), but in this case what you really need is the good old touch your toes shit. Straight back, and just bend at your hips as far down as you can while still keeping your back straight. You should feel it in your hamstrings.

My recommendation is to put your feet at an outward angle, stick your knees out a bit, and use your belly to fill the new found space between your legs. Then squeeeeze and tighten your back. This will essentially help accomodate the weird rounding you've got going while you work on yor flexibility and help you achieve ideal flat back.

Essentially you wanna feel like you're pointing your asshole at the wall to make sure you get proper extension. Shouldn't feel comfortable, should feel TIGHT. Hope this helps!
