Sup /fit/, recovering fatass here.

I've been on the weight loss grind for a long time now, and I'm almost done. I'm down to the last 10-15 lbs before I hit my weight goal, but here is where I'm struggling the most.

Cutting for me is about 2000 kcal a day, and for the most part it's not too hard to stick to. But even on a very clean cut I'm still facing the boredom hunger every night. I don't eat because I'm hungry, I eat because I want satisfaction and food is always what I've derived that from.

How have you guys replaced this boredom hunger? Did you just will-power your way through it, or did you guys distract yourselves from it?

Years of struggling every day to get my diet and lifestyle in check. It was easy for the first 60-80 lbs because it only requires a relatively small change in your diet or exercise to make a substantial difference. But after that point, it really is a daily grind, you have to REALLY want to better yourself, for yourself.

Been using the gum/mints and vaping for almost 2 years now, never once had the desire to buy cigarettes.

Gum/mints have no side effects, vaping is questionable because it's so new no one knows if it's bad for you or not, despite all the mom science out there about it.

I already have a small nicotine addiction, so that doesn't worry me. The patch actually sounds like a decent option to help with this problem as well.

Does the patch curb cravings that well? Is it like a sudden thing, or a time release, or something that I would have to plan when to use it during the day for sleep reasons?

Nigga what the fuck
I weigh 190 and my maintenence is somewhere around 2k. I'm eating 1500 a day and usually about 100-200 cals less than that

I work a physical job 20-25 hours a week which skews my TDEE. It could be something easy for 4 hours, like sweeping. Or it could be 6 hours of moving heavy lumber and materials for the construction company I work for. Hard to account for exactly how much my TDEE right now.
