Why does chocolate make me sleepy? I make my own chocolate and I used to have it a couple of hours before bedtime but now I've moved it to breakfast and I feel really tired all day long. I'm moving it back to nighttime tomorrow but I'd like to know why this is happening.

Psychological dependencies can be developed in as little as 5 days. Chocolate also has sugar and caffeine which are addicting. So the idea is not farfetched.

I just freeze it and eat it before it starts melting. Cocoa powder, coconut oil, butter, and a little heavy cream. I fucked up the texture a few times before figuring it out.

Not OP but the way I make it is cocoa powder, some chocolate-banana whey, butter, coconut oil, and a little bit of sugar. Just heat everything and stir until its smooth. Freeze it and youre golden.
