Just ruined the knees on a pair of tracksuit pants by deadlifting, but if I wear shorts it just tears the skin since the grip on the barbells at my gym are so rough. What do /fit/? Knees wraps?

If the bar is rubbing against your knees you are doing it wrong. Learn to squat then buy pants.
