How much volume is too much?
All the programs out their are for strength training so I have always done my own thing, i'm currently doing PPxPPLx, with each workout coming out to about 30-35 sets.
I'm still making progress, but could this progress be better if I adopt lower volume? How much is right?

Are you natty? Strength routine 3 days/week and cardio 3 days/week
Are you roiding? PPL or some other high volume brosplit
The reason for this is that, as a natty, you have a harder time recovering from any strain on muscles. Doing PPL or having like an entire day for chest just fatigues your muscles and makes it take even longer to recover. Steroids make it a different story.
As a natty you'd be best off doing something like SS (with chin-ups and dips) at least to start with, then progress to Texas or a fullbody routine. You don't want to do many accessories because, quite simply, they won't do anything. Have a decent (compound) lift for each major muscle group and do it once or twice a week, resting the rest of the time.

Also read the sticky

Sticky has no bodybuilding info though desu

I wish people would stop saying "read the sticky" when the sticky doesn't even contain anything more than the basic info. The link in the sticky doesn't even fucking work at the moment anyway.

Basically this. Personally I found ICF to be ideal. Basic strength building program with accessories thrown in for some extra volume.
Currently on a 6 day PPL, though I am on gear.
Depends on the individual and the intensity they are putting in.
That's a lot of volume. I'd say probably overkill. You would likely be better reducing the number of exercises down and really pushing yourself in afew excercise rather than having to conserve energy to get a bunch of extra work.
How long do your workouts last?

Dumbest thing I've read today, and it's 4am. At most your body part needs 2 days to recover from the workout you put it through.

between 1.30 and 2 hours. I some times feel wiped out after though, like I feel asleep for half and hour yesterday after my back workout.

I know this thats why I insist on doing PPL, but surely its harder for the body to recover from high volume?

Thats only 4 hours though

Only if shit genetics. I'm natty and doing PPL on cut. Lifts and recovery are going great and I'm actually making gains even tho I'm at 1900kcal a day.
