Is preworkout a meme? Should I try it? I got a few free samples and I'm curious but I don't want my heart to explode or anything
Don't use it every workout or your will just become reliant on it.
Ideally don't use one at all. They are expensive.
(this being the branded preworkout powders)
You can buy the ingredients separately for way cheaper (caffeine pills, beta-alanine powder, and DMAA if you can find it) and make your own.
Personally I just have a cup of coffee with some beta-alanine in it.
It's a meme.
If you need supplements in order to lift you are weak.
it works for me, i enjoy the tingly sensation i get. plus once i've taken it, i can't back out of going to the gym. also, i workout at 445am, so it's an instantaneous way to wake up and be ready to go.

Helpful, thanks!
Well yeah. Most is modern day snakeoil.
I get all my nutrition from real food, except for creatine, which I find impossible to hit 5g+ on a single day. So i supplement that.
Also full fat milk is far superior to any protein powder.
If you wanna blow your money on garbage that is marginal at best, go right ahead.

>snake oil
That really is the best phrase to describe preworkout supps.
OP, dont waste your money. You will not see a difference.

I dont think you know what it's for...Its to motivate you. Give an energy boost/rush. And even 2 scoops of walmarts cheapest shit will do this. It's not to give you gains or power...

How stupid can you be?
If it actually does as advertised how can It be 'snake oil'?
