Sup, /fit/.
I tend to do compound lifts first and between 1-3 isolation exercises afterwards per compound lift. I'm wondering if there is any research/articles to read on the pros and cons of doing your compound lifts at the beginning, between or at the end of your workout?
Has anyone else experienced with changing when they do their compound lifts?
Cheers.

There don't need to be research articles, it's common sense.
You do compound exercises to increase overall strength by training multiple muscle groups in tandem while simultaneously improving your form under load.
You do isolations to push other muscles into hypertrophy and/or fatigue for size gains. Doing isolations first is gonna fuck up your compounds by creating weak links, and it'll cause imbalances.

Just do compounds and isolation to bring up lagging muscle groups
