alright /fit/ going to the gym for the first time today. one

You keep your bag with you in case a live turd sides out your shorts and you have to quickly pick it up and stow it.

1. Enter gym
2. Find empty locker
3. Put bag in locker
4. Close locker
5. Lock locker
6. Remember lock pin

At my gym they just have those cube organiser things that you can put your stuff in

the cubes are inside the actual gym and visible from most of it so you can still keep an eye on your stuff, AFAIK theft has never been a problem here

At my gym you need to bring your own lock (I use a Dudley combination lock) and just pick any empty locker and keep your stuff locked up inside while you work out.

Be sure not to forget your code, you might want to keep your combination written down somewhere and keep that with you in case you forget.

It's also not a big deal to leave your locker unlocked, most people will respect your privacy and not touch your stuff. Just don't keep your wallet and phone in there if that's the case.

What you need to do OP is hand the bag to the female receptionist at front. Make sure to tell her to "keep it safe for me" as many other gym goers have entrusted her with the same task.

After the workout, ask for the bag. Be sure to leave a good tip to build a rapport with the staff :)

I just rock up in a t shirt and shorts and do my other shit at home.
