then every two days you ate 2500, with a bidaily maintenance of 4000, this gives you a daily average deficit of 750, which should see you lose 1.5lb per week

Goodbye muscle. You aren't gonna squeeze significant amounts of protein of fat into a 500cal window.
It can work for fatties just trying to shed fat but it's a bad idea for lifters.
