/k/ is a /pol/ outpost but every now and then I have a specific technical question about one of my rifles, and they can help. generally will call me a cuck since I'm not much of a "gun person" (power to you if you are, and not going to call me a cuck)

/trv/ used to be the sane, laid back board and still is to a large degree, but even though "4chan was never good," /trv/ has gotten markedly worse, just like /b/. Enough that I basically no longer go, because it's a depressing reminder. Same way I'm kind-of-oldfag enough to remember /b/ having a use besides being a shitty /hc/

/fit/ has crippling body dysmorphia, self-esteem issues, insecurity, and autism. I'd say its actually one of the least sane boards, and its good they changed it from fitness and health because this is probably the board that's the least healthy for anyone to browse regularly.

People on /fit/ are interested in trying to affect an objective reality with their actions, that is, trying to grow muscle on their bodies. Being successful at this requires trying to reach an accurate understanding of what objective consequences their actions have. I think that this is what gives /fit/ the feeling of being more sane; the people here discuss things more from a perspective of "is it true?" instead "what do you think/feel?" than other boards (/fa/, every board that's about entertainment). I feel that /diy/ is like that too.

Been here like ten years. /fit/ reminds me of the boards back then. It's one of the last few good boards.

/tg/ is the most sane board, hands down. /tg/ used to be a lot better, it used to get shit done, create a lot of homebrew material. But the core attitude remains, that attitude being one of minimal tolerance for individual preferences, pet peeves, and ignorance. Post a stupid fucking question and you'll be mocked, but respond to the people mocking you and they'll actually answer your question. It's sort of like a hazing to determine whether you're worth spending time responding to. And the idiocy inherent to the attitude of "stop liking what i don't like" is understood by pretty much every participant. People understand that having fun cannot be inherently wrong as long as nobody's getting murdered IRL, so you cannot have fun in a wrong way. I spent a fair while arguing with somebody about the merits of Pathfinder, and after spending that time shitting on everything I said, the person applauded me a little bit for being able to have fun with it.

Seriously, I love /tg/. High test for the high test god.
