Lactic acid build up. I only get it when I'm going high reps. At higher weight and lower reps, my muscles get tired before the burning kicks in. I've never had the burning last for 10 minutes, though. Maybe a minute or so.
What about calf pumps? Long duration uphill walks feel good but the calf hurts so fucking badly
