I've used armodafinil 3 times. Twice at 125mg, once at 250mg. For me, it is _uncomfortably_ powerful, and I went in thinking "eh, this shit's gotta be similar enough that I won't be able to tell a difference." So ... I always recommend starting scrips with a reduced dosage because it's easier to find your threshold of tolerance when you're adding rather than subtracting. Less stressful that way too.

An addendum to this while the subject's on my mind: if you do decide to try Modafinil/Armodafinil, keep in mind they aren't something you want to be taking on a daily basis because you build up tolerance fairly quickly. They work best when you limit their usage to once or twice a week, especially because they can mess up your sleep schedule and that's often a pain for people to fix. (Both drugs are designed to combat the drowsiness associated w/ narcolepsy and shift work, so if you want a legit prescription, you can tell your doctor you're consistently having a hard time staying awake.)

I've seen some people do "Modafinil Monday" if you want to make it a scheduled thing, which works pretty well if you have a bunch of busy work you don't really want to do but know you should. You can just power through it all in one sitting and feel good doing it. However you should have a good awareness of the onset time so you don't get fuck up and get hyperfocused on playing vidya or looking at porn or something you don't mean to focus on.
