What is your take on swimming guys?
Is it worth the extra effort or is it just jogging +wet?
Probably better for your joints than jogging and you feel refreshed rather than sweaty af. I definitely prefer it, but I'm home pool masterrace.

Generally speaking you're not supposed to discharge any bodily fluids into the pool.
Sometimes small children involuntarily defecate in the pool and the whole pool has to be drained and fresh water supplied. Urine is not as bad as feces of course (you can, after all, drink urine). No one's going to know expect for you bro :) I've vomited in pool once myself

If you piss in the pool or hop in after lifting and you're all sweaty, you are a piece of shit. More chlorine has to be released into the pool to neutralize your fluids so you are directly making everyone who swims with or after you that day have a worse experience.

I think it's pretty obvious swimming works your upper body way more than running. Actually swimming with good form works every muscle in your body. Swimming is great. Just do both, you don't have to only do one or the other. One of the best feelings in the world is running a few miles and then diving into cold water.
