I run as meditation.

It used to just be a mile - that's all I could do. Then it was 5k. Then 10k. Then a half marathon. But they all still held a piece of my life that gives me a calm, peaceful feeling.

So I don't care how fast, or slow, someone runs. I lift for me. I do martial arts for me. And do you know who I run for? Certainly not some random shitposter in fit.
