If i burn x calories with cardio, im i suposed to eat TDEE - 500 + x or keep TDEE -500

Your TDEE : 2000
Caloric deficit : 500
x = 500
You eat 1500 calories and burn 500, so you're left with 1000 calories for the day, eat at least 300 calories

Holy kek I wanna replace my water bottle with this now
Keep TDEE-500 never add exercise calories

You're supposed to eat TDEE - 500 + x. However, be conservative with x since apps and fitbits and things like that overestimate them. I usually eat back half or less.

I can't believe no one's mentioning this but x is accounted for in your tdee 99% of the time anyway, it's what the "lifestyle" portion of tdee is for. So if you have an accurate tdee for your level of activity then you should just eat it -500.
