Is intermittent fasting a meme? I've been getting back into lifting after a couple of years off and I have about 25 lbs to lose. I know calories in/calories out is really the key to weight loss. Is intermittent fasting only effective because you end up eating fewer calories because the time you can eat is restricted? So many articles I read talk about how your body starts burning more stored fat if you fast for a certain period of time. Wouldn't your body burn the same amount of fat if you ate the same number of calories spread out over a day with no fasting periods?
