Alright /fit/ here's the deal: I recently got diagnosed with gout about 6 months ago. Ive been lifting and doing cardio for the past 8 years and before my diagnosis/flair up I was attempting to cut doing keto (lot of red meat, fish and other things). I was put on a strict diet phasing out as many purines as I could to try and reduce my euric acid levels naturally, which basically means going soft core vegetarian for awhile. Anyway just wondering what meat alternative high protein sources you all can give me? So far I've been eating the fuck out of almonds, eggs and lean mozzarella cheese plus the occasional proton shake. Looking to add variety

I'm a really big fan of pinto beans, as well as spinach. Spinach is higher in protein by volume than steak. Nuts are good too.
