Can't believe how little back pain and how much ease I banged out 5x5x85kg squats wearing a belt for the first time
Inb4 someone calls me weak, yerh my squats are weak because i've always hated them but i'm ready to go harder tomorrow

That's true. Good trick is only wear belt for your heaviest sets, not your warm-ups.

I've a previous back injury but even still
Just seems to transfer a lot more of the force to my posterior
Like previously it was either fuck my quads for 4 days or i'd be constsntly forced to not lesn forward and aggravate my back just above my arse
Now it all drops in beautifiully
