The pain is addicting, it's not severe pain or pain that will stop you from lifting but man it feels good lifting on it.
yeah I never understood why people hate DOMS, I'm always looking forward to getting it
I have DOMs in my abs today. Those are my favourites.
I remember training my legs properly for the first time and thought it wouldn't be so bad, then the next day I went to get out of bed and face planted.
I don't consider it a decent workout unless I wake up with DOMS these days.

i always use doms to gauge a workout. Unfortunately i only get about 6-8weeks of doms post workout then i stop getting them no matter how hard i go. Except legs, i always get leg doms
