Turning part of my basement into a home gym
Want to put in foam mats on the floor so I can drop weights without doing damage and all that.
Being cautious and not wanting to good goyed by the jews, are eva foam mats healthy to have inside a house?

Foam isn't tough enough to drop weights on. Go to a Tractor Supply Store and get their 3/4 inch thick solid rubber mats.
>he doesnt deadlift on shag carpet in his basement

It's what you get for thinking a random chemical in some rubber mats is going to kill you.

Using foam mats atm
It does the job but I taped 2 on top of each other on top of a plywood. Would recommend building your own actual deadlift platform though. Best part of having a home gym is its the perfect time to express your creativity and craftsmanship.

I've been using foam mats for year and they're fine, they just get mangled over time if you use heavy-ish weight
