Anybody got a LASIK eye surgery? Is it safe to start heavy

Hey dude, I got Lasik literally six days ago (last Thursday). The doctor said it's safe to lift literally the next day, same with PRK. Just be careful with wiping sweat off your face, you really don't want to dislodge the flap.

P.S., if you haven't had it done and are just asking, get it done. It's improved life in every way. I feel I lift better now because I can actually see the wall and lock on focus. Sounds crazy but it may just be true.

my concern is that for example in heavy deadlifts you have a lot of pressure and inside your eye and im afraid if this can do any harm to the flap

If you're that worried just avoid high stress lifts for a week or so.

I had LASIK done years ago and avoided really heavy lifting for around a week. I probably didn't need to but thought it was better to play it safe.
