Has anyone had any success with any posture exercises or if its just a placebo?

i just lifted with proper form and most of my posture problems got fixed. never bothered with any special exercises for it. i guess my posture was due to weak muscles

Same. Compounds fixed my posture issues and back pain.
I went from pigeon posture to"army inspection" posture in 2 steps and it took me two months
1. Deadlift heavy
2. Correct your posture whenever you notice it. It will be often.
Once you start spending more time in correct posture than you do in wrong, and ur muscles are strong enough to support and balance it, you will be much more comfortable in the new posture and it will be automatic. Try it. Takes two months.
In addition to diddlylifts, I recommend chin ups and front squats for dat upper back.
