When did you realise you was strong?

I could diddly 3pl8 with litte training at 70 kg, even though my squat and barbell row is terrible. Not trying to be one of those "I did SS for 3 months and now I'm 1/2/3/4"-guys, but it seems to me that many can do a 3pl8 deadlift i they push themselves and sacrifice a little form.

I'm the same, my best deadlift was 180kg but I really felt form deteriorate. Plus I've no business dling that high when all my other lifts are in the gutter. It's one of those things where I can do it but I don't think it counts when I lose tightness in my core and feel like my spine mightn't be neutral.

3x8x3pl8 deadlift is advanced for 70kg bodyweight. Stop this meme!

I think you're both right. The first time deadlifting I did a 415 lbs pull, I just didnt maintain tightness. I know many people who did 500 lbs ++ the first time they tried deadlifting.

Liar or fatty
when it carried over to real life strength. picking up shit at work without crippling soreness the next day, picking up my gf ezpz, holding heavy shit for prolonged amounts of time (for whatever reason) without grip failing or arms hurting, that kinda stuff.
