Hey /fit/
so I've never really been to this board before, let alone posted here, but I have recently realised that I've had a weight problem. I am underweight with a BMI of around 15 or 16. These past couple months I've been trying to figure out why this could be. Whenever I eat out with friends or family, I'm always the one that eats the most, and I always eat a lot of food and have several meals every day. I am not very physically active, apart from walking my dog for 30 minutes to an hour every day, and I am suspecting that may be the problem, but I am still not burning a lot of calories.
I am asking this here because the only real advice I could find for my situation in the Begginer's Health and Fitness Guide.
OP here, forgot to ask my question lol
so what could the problem be?
1. Calculate TDEE
2. Consume more calories than this
3. Gain weight
If you're not reaching stage 3, then repeat step 2 with more emphasis. If that still doesn't work, see a doctor.
Also, post fucking stats in OP

try drinking calories like chocolate milk and if that doesn't work maybe see your GP

This right here, m8. You need to go above a certain number of calories to gain weight.
>the most
>a lot
>several
It might seem like this, but you're probably not eating as much as you think you are. It's not unlike fat people saying that they ate a little/not a lot/small portions but somehow manage to be 300 pounds.

track eating and moving. with numbers. I thought I ate a lot, and it turns out I was eating 1700 calories on most days, which is right around maintenance levels when I'm a sedentary fuck based on imperfect fitbit stats. so even one or two big eating days a week didn't make a difference if I moved around a bit.
consider weighing your food if you're not gaining and you think you should be. or just eat more. you're probably eating less than you think.
