How many ways do you train your shoulders?
(Apart from being involved in other compound lifts?)
I counted 5 positions for the front delt:
1. Front raises
2. Chest flyes
3.Laying on your back as a dumbbell-bench, but lowering your arm, straight to your hip, and back up again.
4. Laying on your stomach and raising the weight with straight arm, so it is in front of /above your head. Like an OHP with straight arms, but laying down.
5. Same motion as a chest-fly but your body is on its side, so the squeeze happen when the weight is infront of you, at its heaviest.
Rear-Delts i counted also 5.
1. Reardelt flys/raises
2. Laying on your side with the weight mocing from in-front of you, to over you with straight arms (same motion as rear-delt fly/raise)
3.Stiff armed row, were you are leaned forward
and move the weight to your hip with elbows close to the body with straight arms.
4. Same motion as skull-crushers but emphasis on having straight arms, preferable performed upside-down.
5. Skull-crushers while on your back.
Side delts just two?
1. Side raises
2. Laying on your side lowering the weight with a straight arm to your hip, or slightly in front of the hip.
What variations do you do and how often?
What rep-ranges? What made them pop?
