Is it okay to use Rear Military Press in place of OHP, or will I be neglecting muscle groups?
I use it because I train very late at night and never have a spotter, so if I go to failure I can rest it on my shoulders and rerack.

Behind the neck press can be bad for shoulder health, I recommend if you're going heavy stick to ohp. Going to failure shouldn't be an issue and if it is I recommend lifting in a power rack with safeties up.

Man, I'm just scared about slipping the bar, having it bounce on the rack and then eating knurling.
people actually use spotters for ohp?

This, wtf?
ohp is the safest lift because if you can't lock it out you wont get it passed your chin.

So don't suicide grip?

I don't, but I'm a paranoid man.
