What kind of weight lifting routine should I be looking for if my main goal is weight/fat loss?

More strenght based one. Doing more reps for more muscle hypertrophy is kinda wasted on a cut since muscle growth is slow to non existing. Less volume overall on a cut in general, and lower reps on compounds too so they focus strength more.
Lets say if you did 4x8-12 for bench on a bulk and now you started a cut, go for 3x4-6 on a cut.

And to add to this I just forgot to say that >>41771618 is quite right, weight is lost through calorie deficit. That happens at the kitchen.
