From what I understand Mission Peak is a very easy climb.
Bring water and good shoes and you'll be good.

Depends how grippy your shoes are. By far the most popular hiking shoe nowadays, among normies and pros are trail runners, which are just running shoes with a couple fancy features for durability, traction, etc.
I hiked Half Dome in basketball shoes last November
I hiked a couple peaks in the Rockies alone
If you look where you're stepping and don't do anything too stupid you should be fine
Going on a hike at the end of this month or early next. Hiking out with my gear to the camp site, hike back the next day.
Doing the full Tour de Mont Blanc next June.
Depends on the trail but I wouldnt go alone if youve never been. My friends and I go hiking and we constantly wander off trail on most hikes. We have to back track and pay pretty close attention as we go. While it may just be the situation of the local trails in Arizona but it is dangerous and easy to get in over your head.
But if you arent in 100 degree heat who really gives a fuck if you get lost for 8 hours. Bring food, more water than youd think, a small first aid kit, and sun protection. Have a blast!
