Is keto the way to go for me?
I'm closing in on 230 lbs. I'm 6'0. Managed to be lazy as fuck the last 5 months and put on 20 lbs. I felt pretty good around 210. Felt fat some days, but felt better some days. I just feel fat 90% of the time now. I am fat. I'm obese according to BMI.
When I was 210, I got down to 190, using keto, but it seemed to kinda slow down around that. I felt great at 190, but 170 is my long term goal. I don't know, is shedding about 60 lbs. doable?
I know this is all of my my doing, but having a fatter gf who is always down for food and offering me food, is hard to fucking say no to. I feel like before I know it, I'll be 300 lbs.

you don't need keto. you just need to cut your daily calories and stay on top of it. if your gf doesn't support your weight loss then dump her. she doesn't have your best interests in mind and you need a better partner.
Not saying its a good idea but i lost 40-45 lbs in 2 weeks with a fast. If you're really determined to be fit, its worth a shot, but you have to workout program as soon as its over
