>Oh hey, Anon! I'm just getting Ivan here across the river; the big baby's afraid of water. I'll let you take him back over to the other side. It should be easy since you've been working on your isometrics every day! You HAVE been doing your isometrics, haven't you?

I would, if someone supplied a helpful infographic with all the best isometrics to do

Thanks, Sokolov. Here, let me take Ivan. So, how has your life as a accountant? I see even at 50 you're still as able to lift a horse as back when we were in college. Me? I roid, but you, Sokolov... mirin those youth genes.

No infographic here, but I'd just do the basic movements at 3 different portions of the lift. for instance, work on vertical pressing by getting in one of your door frames around the house and doing isometrics at the start, middle, and lockout portions of the lift. do about 10 holds for about 10 seconds each at each for each portion. you can also do "explosive" isometrics, where you try to apply max tension as quickly as possible then hold for about 3-5 seconds.

also, here's a tutorial for making a device to do a variety of different holds:

Thanks lad. Just did this. I was looking for a bodyweight replacement for ohp that doesn't snap your shit like handstand push-ups. This works great.
