Anyone ever practice the sleeping on the floor meme? I became interested in it lately but not sure if I want to give up the comfort of my bed. Apparently it's supposed to be way better for your back and spine. A lot of people in Japan also sleep this way. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMNgSDEwp24

I wake up pretty tired and my eyes hurt when I sleep on the floor but it helps my herniated disc.

How long have you been doing it?

For a month. I bought a Japanese style mat and it does help more with support.

I do it at least once a week. More if I've done a particularly heavy session of lifting. I also nap on the floor if I need to nap.
It really does feel amazing when you wake up, even better if you've tweaked your back in the past. It does however take time to get used too. Bruising on parts of your hips and back are a common occurrence when you first start doing it.

I've slept on a mattress, it hurts my back due to my injury.

I've had to sleep on the floor a lot with the military. I think that idea is one of the dumbest things I've heard, just get a firm mattress.

How are your maxillas? Are you sleeping with your mouth closed? I believe it's supposed to support proper facial posture as well.

Apparently I sounded like I was choking last time I slept on my back on the floor.

Fine. Then again, I've never had a problem with my maxilla desu

I sleep on a matress that's on the floor and when I get tired of the mattress I just sleep on the floor on of a blanket. Been doing so for roughly 6 years and I've grown accustomed to it honestly. My back at times hurt like 3 times a month, but goes away after a day.
>king size matress with memory foam topper
>sleep like a baby and have no back pain
>arms constantly fall asleep if i sleep on my side
