Completely a personal preference. Some people prefer the feel of a high top for that locked in feeling but others like low tops that offer more free movement. If you have weaker ankles I'd say go high or maybe just boot tape for games

Hightops friendo unless you want to have fucked up knees later in life. They let you feel more secure using your ankle strength and flexibility instead of relying more on kneeeees.
I played some football

low, with ankle braces
play rugby instead

low obviously your a fucking corner lmao why did you need to make a thread about this

Do cleats even make a difference? I bought RB/HB cleats because I didn't know any better and played cornerback and had no problems.

what level football do you play?
214 is heavy for a cb sure hope youve got some damn wheels on you

Differences for how it affects your body, but most of the people that buy them are high schoolers so any damage done by wearing the wrong ones are minimal. Pro and college players need to wear the right kind.

Nike mercurial or hyper venom.

No athletes on /sp/ just /sp/ectators.
Lows. Or mids. Maybe even Soccer cleats. Give you nice agility.

Not OP but I played rugby as a high schooler in Texas, was fun as fuck. I was a winger and still broke a kids ribs once lol. I'm considering playing for the Galveston county team desu

Agree with soccer cleats, your a corner so just need grip and speed don't worry about your ankles as your not getting them snapped in tackles
