>Do C25K
>It works
>can now run 5k and heart barely beats faster
What now? I don't want to do 10k, running is boring.
do 5k faster
>>41650181
You know, that never even occurred to me.

>can now run 5k and heart barely beats faster
BPM? Pace?
Man I can't even be bothered with C25K it's boring as fuck I wanna go jump of the bridge... I'd rather cycle but no infrastructure, lot's of cars and gypsies to steal my bike.
>>41650297
I bet he's running it in like 30 minutes lol
faster
more incline
>>41650515
then don't park your bike? i cycle 225km/wk and when i'm not using my bike it goes in my house
Lift motherfucker
>>41650515
True but I don't really wanna cycle on a road with cars going 100kph next to me, plus a lot of uphill downhill riding. I might buy one, need to read what to get, used besides good aluminum frame.
>>41650827
Plus it's only usable when not raining and that's when it's too hot, why not stay indoors :X idk i think i should just stick with the gym and not waste 500e on a bike now...
>>41650172
Do the swimming version
>>41650172
>running is boring
never ran 10k or more, thinks it will be boring
>doing couch to 10k
>tomorrow morning is my first 40min straight run
Fucking excited desu. I'm loving running.
The program is cool too. Couch to 5k went way to slow for me and so I got bored and never even finished it. Now I'm holding a 7min mile for the duration of my runs. Fucking rough in the beginning, but it's good. I'm well on my way to a 42 minute 10k. After that, I'll get it down closer to 30-35 mins.
>>41650172
you haven't ran a 5k until you've broken 15 minutes
but I agree, running is boring and shitty unless you're in the forest
no arm gainz ever

>Our Couch to 5K plan is designed to get just about anyone off the couch and running 5km in nine weeks.
Nine fucking weeks? Even as a fat fuck who hadn't ran anywhere in 8 years, I managed to run a 5k (admittedly in 29 minutes) the first time I tried.
Fat fuck here, just recently started running.
I'm doing a mile in about 9:30 right now. Would I be better trying to improve my mile time first, or focus on running longer at a slower pace?
