>>
my shoulders click on every rotation if I do those "windmill" warmups. also every rep of lateral raises. no pain though.
>>
I get that but with my knees. If I walk 2 miles my knee starts to hurt like fuck. And Idk what to do, stretches aren't helping and I don't have health insurance .

I don't want to be curl-bro tier guys. what do I do?

How to work delts with freeweights?
>>

Dumbells.
>>
>>41640685
source? I think you're mistaking it for the bench

OHP is the least snap citiest of the 4
>>
>>41640640
you are rolling your shoulders back, yes? I get clicking if I don't pull them up and back at the beginning of my set for some reason.
>>
>>41640659
same happens to me and only the right one. No pain tho, is it dangerous?
>>
If you're using the right form, properly warming up, and there's no pain then don't worry about it. Clicking can be normal for some people.
>>
>>41640738
Yes. You might pop it out place. I'm not a doctor but I have been told its basically your knee cap slipping out of place and if you don't do the right stretches then it might grow into that angle and stay like that and your shit will be totally fucked by age 40-50

they are fine to do if u dont go heavy on them. anyone doing sets of 5 with OHP is begging to be fucked up. the shoulder muscles are not big muscles, need to use light weights on them because they are small and fragile.
>>
>>41640773
>bench_shoulderdislocation.webm

OHP is better for your shoulder health

if you do bench only without strengthening your delts you will visit snap city soon enough

pull your shoulderblades together
set an arch
>>
>>41640640
Do your rotator cuff warmup before you bench or ohp. Use just an elastic band. Works wonders. Haven't had shoulder issues for a long time.

yours, maybe.
>>
>>41640804
Ohp makes the muscle around the rotator cuffs tighter. So they actually lead to less injury when done right. Shit you guys should be more worried about keep your balancing.

>doing ohp at lmao 125 lbs
> breathe while moving through the rep by accident
> lose balance and nearly fall but hyper extend my lower back instead.

Now my lower back been sore for an entire week because I'm stupid .

Either your shoulders aren't tucked, you aren't pressing with vertical forearms, you don't squeeze your glutes and brace your core, or you don't tuck your chin and press straight up. I bet you're missing at least one of those. Go check out a form video or check the stronglifts guide it's not bad despite stronglifts being a shitty routine
>>

Try doing some Z press instead.

It will quickly expose any weaknesses in mobility that would be causing clicking and pain.

Also a really good exercise in it's own right as an accessory to OHP.
