There's a fat dude at my gym that benches 330 for reps.

Just looks like a typical fat dude. Cool guy, but yeah, just looks like your average fat dude off the street.

Any reason for this in particular? He reps it out like 15 times like its nothing, I would have expected someone at that level of strength to be at least muscular looking, not just like some average fat guy off the street.

If you start from moderate bf to hi bf and not give a fuck about what you eat so long as it's a lot of it, you have your regular power lifter making crazy gains

Eh, you guys are making the mistake of thinking this guy i'm talking bout that benches 330 for reps is some strongman looking fat guy....no...he literally looks like a non-lifting fat dude, he literally looks like he doesn't actually lift, he has narrow shoulders, no arms, no legs, no chest, just fat and soft and non-lifting look.


He doesn't even look like a fat powerlifter...at least fat powerlifters actually look like they have muscle there, this guy doesn't appear to have any muscle whatsoever

It doesn't take a lot of fat to make someone look DYEL.


There's less than 5 months between these pictures. Between these pictures I gained zero muscle mass. But because I was fat in the before pic, I look like an average dyel.

Damn, it's crazy what losing 15-30 pounds as someone whose been lifting and has a muscular base underneath all that fat.


I remember the first time I cut I only had to lose 10 pounds of fat and my entire fucking spare tire around my stomach disappeared.

Its shocking how much of a difference losing 10 pounds of fat does when you've been lifting for years.
