Why do people (Scooby too!) say chips are unhealthy? They have fat and protein and no sugar. They give you calories you need for bulking.

>no sugar.
U FUCKIN WOT M8!!1?

Chips are bad because they're made of sugar fried in unhealthy fat .

I just checked my Pringles can and it says 1,9 grams of sugar per 100 grams Pringles. Not even 2%.

"Carbohydrates : x
Of which sugars : y" Is a big fat pile of bullshit .
Carbohydrates ARE sugars . It's just that we drew an imaginary line somewhere in the "nutritional science" and decided that we would list chain longer than 2 monosaccharides molecules as carbohydrate rather than sugar .

So no my man , your pringles must be at around 66% sugar by weight .

Holy shit, just checked out Salami, Ham and cheese (so food that I considered to be healthy) and they really have like 1g of carbs per 100g of said product. So I guess you're right with that. The thing is: I changed ip my diet so I'd eat as low sugar as possible, but I didn't looked at the carbs. As you said on the packaging it says Carbs: X of which Sugars:Y, so I thought those were separate things. So if people say stop eating sugary foods, that includes foods with high carbs, too?
DESU whenever I opened a can, I ate the whole thing. 28 grams has 150 calories, the whole can (165 g) about 900 kcal. Fuck that yo. The worst thing is when you eat the whole can, just wait an hour and you're ready for another one

We separate Carbs into simple carbs ( listed as sugar ) & complex carbs ( listed as Carbohydrates) But it's way more complex than that .
100g of "complex" carbs from rice or bread will be absorbed and do as much damage as 100 G of pure white granulated sugars .
But 100 g of "simple" carbs ( sugar ) from a fruit will be absorbed way slower than 100g of "complex" carbs from pasta .
The less is has been processed the slower it'll release sugar in your system usually , the best would be to not release sugar in your system at all but if you must do it you should consider the best alternative like : Veggies , legumes , fruits , wholes grains ( in that order ) .

Yes, oats are pure sugar. So are beans and potatoes.
Get a grip
>>41627095
Those haven't been altered by humans and have a much much lower glycemic index , unless you do something stupid like nuking your oats or making puree .

So you were talking about processed food carbohydrates? Big difference, should've mentioned it!
Its got 2g of fibre too. Its good for you.

Bonjour mon ami canadien

they are shit tier carbs aka sugar
good sugars like the ones in milk (lactose) are handled differently by the body
also bulking off of food like chips will lead to poor micronutrient balance (think vitamins and stuff you get from veges)

Lactose is as bad as sucrose if you can digest it and even worse if you can't digest it .
