Also this. I noticed the effects of keto in the first few days, looking leaner than ever and showing ketones in my piss, but it was literally just because it prevents water retention. I didn't feel noticably better in terms of energy, just the same as normal really.
Basically I realised it's a retarded fad aimed at people looking for a 'quick fix', much like the water fasting thing, which ultimately just causes more harm than good to the victim who falls for it.
Considering you have to religiously track macros anyway on keto, since too much protein or carbs causes you to go out of ketosis, then it's just much easier to track your macros on a normal healthy diet of decent, nutritious, and overall delicious foods.
