Is SS a waste of time or not? I'm a girl and I want t rex mode, that's not a problem, but I don't know if there's enough volume or if not training my arms will be a problem. I read that stronglifts wasn't as good as SS and strong curves is made by a hack so I'm not sure what I should do?

you should lift weights, probably do SS until you know what you're doing and then go from there.
There isn't some special workout for girls unless you wanna be an oly lifter, in which case you get to use different loads and volumes than men.
You train your arms 3 times a week + accessories on SS.

They can, they'll also progress at maybe 1/3 the speed of a dude on SS with a good diet. SS is a routine only beginners can do because it takes advantage of having untrained cns. SS is not a viable routine for trained/intermediate lifters, so they have to divide up the lifts on different days as your numbers start to get in the heavily fatiguing and potentially injuring phase.
No point in training exclusively for hypertrophy when you don't even recruit most of your muscle fibers due to a shit underdeveloped cns.

So long as you're following the protocol of progressive loading, it will be enough. It's a low-volume routine, with a high amount of intensity.
If you want some accessories to plug-in, go with some barbell hip thrusts, romanian deadlifts, calf raises, and reverse lunges. Never go overboard with extra shit. Focus on increasing the weight on your primary lifts as a beginner.

Not sure if the guy is right though, I have always done a PPL routine, or as you call it, a brosplit, and been progressing just as good as everyone else.
