Anyone else get migraines?
It's not nearly as disabling now since I discovered excedrin, and that eliminates them almost every time, but I feel like I'm doing long term damage to my body by taking all this acetaminophen. What works for you guys?

I can usaly take some week ass pain killers if i catch one super early then they go away, but if i don't i also just throw up and fall asleep. Sucks man, I can go months with out then get a week where i get one 3 times a day. Doctors have no idea why.

Ayyy i thought i was the only one that did that
The pressure exerted makes me feel tons better after.
Oh but OP, chevk your diet. You might be getting to much sugar or something. Consuming too much sugar gives me migraines. Probably some precursor to full blown beetus

There are some interesting medicines that are easy to get to these days that didn't exist back when I was suffering. I had 3-5 a week between the ages of 10 and 19, but the relatively young medicines didn't work for me. Life was truly suffering.
Then I got thyroid cancer at 19 and had the gland removed and my headaches basically evaporated. For science, I discovered that overdosing on my synthetic metabolism medicine triggers a migraine.

I used to put a damp cloth over my eyes, lay on my cool tiled bathroom floor, and suffer until I could induce vomiting. Throwing up triggers a massive release of serotonin from the lining of your stomach into your bloodstream. This extra serotonin rectifies the lack of it in your brain and begins the recovery process.
Keep a diary of what's happening daily and find patterns. Common triggers are food, mood, stress levels, barometric pressure levels, and dehydration.
Also LSD has shown to be extremely effective in treating migraines in a clinical setting

> Do drugs
recently had a string of migranes for several days in a row. vomiting until dry heaving, then just suffering until it went away. excedrin did nothing.
went to doc, MRI, found nothing. he kept saying it was food triggered but I haven't changed anything in my diet for months. its been about a month now and haven't had anything since then. got prescribed some shit to take if I ever feel one coming on again.
i just wish I knew what caused it.
Diagnosed with chronic migraines. I'm on preventatives, "migrelief" recommended by my specialist. Main ingredients are riboflavin, magnesium, and feverfew. Also prescribed sumatriptan and neproxin.
I have cold packs for the back of my neck and eyes, preferably ice cold. Frozen. Also thick down pillows to cover my ears with whIle I lay in a dark room.
Excedrine never worked. Only made me sick to my stomach.
Some triggers for my migraines are caffeine, alcohol, strong smells, low frequency noises, stress, too much sleep, too little sleep..
It's a fucking nightmare.
But I do recommend the preventatives though.
i used to get migraines but then i started drinking milkshakes a couple times a week and now i still get them.

Wow this thread is for me
I've been taking advil/excedrin almost everyday for almost 3 years now.
It started when I got an iPhone.
Few things that have helped over the years:
>Biggest one: Green Vibrance
No idea why, but trust me, it works
>Second biggest one: Working out
>3rd biggest one: drinking enough water
>Flux for your laptop/computer
>"True Dark" Glasses to block blue light at www.biohacked.com, or buy them on Amazon
>Dave Asprey makes blue light filter screens for iPhone/iPad too.
Even after all this, I still take excedrin.
The dosage and frequency has gone down, though.
I'd like to hear from other anons on what the problem could be.
