Used to be a hungry skelly.
Still dyel but the effort is strating to show.
I have a question though:
I keep gaining weight at the rate of more or less 1kg/month. My bf % is not high but it is noticable (i mean I have a small skinny fat gut etc..).
Does that mean I eat enough? If my calory intake wasnt sufficient i would lose the gut and stopped gaining weight, right? Or is it possible that in theory i could eat even more and increase my muscle gains instead of just getting fatter?

I guess what im asking is:
As long as I have a visible layer of bf around my gut i can safely say my calory intake is sufficient and i dont need to bulk more, right? If my body lacked energy, it would show through losing fat.

Do i get it right?

Ive always had chicken legs + plus i used to neglect leg days for too until i realized how much my quads suck..
Im hitting them like a madman 3x/week now to catch up what i missed.

OP, I'm 181 76kg so we're pretty much at identical points. What are your lifts right now? What program are you on? Future plans?

I'm on a PPL for the exam session, gonna go back to SL/Madcow/Similar during summer to up my lifts. Bulking atm, want to get to 80-82kg and cut then.

Bench: 85kgx5
Squat: 100kgx5
Row: 70kgx5
OHP: 50kgx5

I did PPL for about two months but i switched to just two day routine a few weeks back:
A: PUSH
B: PULL/ LEGS

I focus on chest and shoulders on push day and back + legs the other day..
I feel like my biceps and lats are much stronger than the rest of my body so I decided to do more legs and less pull stuff for a few months..

good question OP - I have the same stats as you and I am wondering the same - I've gained 3kg in the last 2 months (started lifting 2 months ago football player skelly mode, so the good kinda skelly), and I've gained a little bit of fat.

I'm doing clean bulk, like you I presume. Then again, now that I think about it, the fat could come from the fact that I do cardio once a week!

I'm gonna step it up to 3 x week and see what happens.

Not going for thicc.. i just dont want be skinny anymore.. i would say slightly ripped ottermode is my goal..

Its very interesting to see other people with the same height and weight, weight and pretty much bf as me.
The visual differences are much bigger than I expected.
Damn, grnetics really do play a big part.
