Yo hol up
So the sticky is tellin me I eat +500 a day to build muscle
And this TDEE calculator thang says I burn 2363 a day
And I workout 3 hours which burns lets say 1500
Wat do I eat? Do I eat 4363? Or 2863?? Or 2363 or wat?

>I workout 3 hours which burns lets say 1500
Extremely generous estimate there.

Aight but just assume
>>41560272
>which burns lets say 1500
Are you hardcore swimming for 180 straight minutes?
>>41560272
Sure, 1500.
>Do I eat 4363
yes
>>41560272
>And I workout 3 hours which burns lets say 1500
Thats way too much guesstimate. Try half of that
>>41560272
What the fuck are you doing for 3 hours that you burn 1500? Sprinting into the next dimension?
>>41560476
Was going to say this. Even then that's a pretty liberal estimate. Try like 3300 a day and if you still aren't gaining weight after a week or two slowly increase
>counting exercise in you calorie tracking
Get a load of this faggot

kekd
but seriously OP, 1500 is a pretty ridiculous estimate

>Being more conservative than Mike Pence at the Pulse night club
There's a point at which this is a foolish practice.
I used to eat 4000 for maintenance in high school. This factored in
>growing (pretty much sideways by that point, like shoulders getting broader and stuff)
>walking/running a good 40 minutes every day cause classes in opposite ends of school and dumbasses try to hold conversations while walking abreast in the hallway
oh yeah and
>swimming 3 hours a day, 6 days a week, each practice totalling approximately 10-11,000 yards (~6 miles)
So unless you're really going ham on that exercise regimen, I highly doubt you need to eat anywhere near 4k.

are you a meme?

1) Make a guess as to how much you should eat
2) Observe weight with daily measurement done right after waking up and taking a piss, average measurements over a week
3) compare two weeks averages
4) repeat until your weight gain is ½-1lbs per week
5) continue monitoring weight
TDEE calculators only give you a starting point from which to begin guessing.

There's no way in hell youre burning that many calories by exceeding. Lifting occurs in intervals. Most of that time is down time between lifts. Try 40-50 minutes of excersise.
>all this suspicion
If he wakes up and runs like 5 mules that's almsot 1000 calories off right there. He can easily get the other 500 from lifting with mayne an additional 15 minute HIIT cardio.
