Not sure if bad, but sure is damaging. It does feel good at first, but this kind of motivation and drive only last for so long. Same shit if you are lifting for some 10/10 or shit like that.

Maybe it works for you, but I would personally get really angry/mad/upset/frustrated if my long-term actions would be for something that I would never get in my entire life.

It's a little pathetic, and you should never tell anybody ever that you do this no matter what, but whatever gets the bar moving for you is fine. Again, I wouldn't ever tell anybody if I were you though. To the average person it sounds insane to lift for somebody who doesn't exist.

not really sure desu, my parents are millennials and say I'm fine the way I am (skinnyfat), but I know that's obviously not true. I'm good at sticking to a routine as long as there aren't any major roadblocks, those tend to set me back months.
