How big are you guys getting? I see posts all the time of people lifting for a few months and suddenly being the center of attention.
I've been lifting for two years and I haven't gotten openly mired once. Granted I don't go out much, but still.

I'm 3 months into SL and have gotten compliments by ~10 guys and 2 girls, 2 of my gym buddies told me how lucky i am that my genetics are so great.
I don't consider myself big, it's just that 95% of the guys I know don't have any muscle mass whatsoever so any kind of gains is considered impressive.

People lie on the internet anon. I've gotten mires after I started lifting, but it's not that big of change from before.

I don't know how it is where you are but here (UK) being pretty 'big' has become so commonplace that no one really makes a deal out of it anymore.
10 years ago if you hit the weights for a couple years you would be 'that buff guy' and people would mire openly because it was a relative novelty in most social circles.
Now pretty much everyone has a couple friends who have been working out, with some success, for a while so associating with built people is the norm.
It's very rare that anyone comments on my physique because there are a half dozen other guys in my extended social circle who are just as big if not bigger.
Basically it doesn't really make you stand out anymore unless you hang out with slobs.
