Lmao at your life and mine. I am 22 and still live with parents. Only hope is to go to France with erasmus on next spring. Maybe after return I'll start renting my space.
>>
I think the age limit to live with your parents is 30, don't worry to much

You really have trouble finding a job there

What lifts do I need to do in order to move out on minimum wage?
>>
>>41527262
Are you not going to college? if not just start going to cc and take some IT shit so you can get a decent job in a few years so you dont have to paint the walls of your bedroom. It will get your life rollin towards something. And like attracts like, i found a gf just as weird and antisocial/lazy as me when i started cc
>>
>>41528007
It's either live with parents pay cheap rent or move out and pay 1500+ plus amenities with roommates.

Fuck I hate California.
>>
>>41528056
Its more like 22-23, anymore than that and it's pretty fucking sad.

O man you live in Cali? Fuck you and enjoy the wonderful south california weather you bitch. Im freezing right now, the cold is so fucking depressing! Try to escape depression when its cold as shit and you live in an apartment. Im assuming you live in a house in southern cali where it is very expensive.

Nope. I'm in the bay. My friend in Wisconsin pays 600 for two rooms with amenities. Fucking bastard. 600 here you're most likely sharing a room in the ghetto.

Exactly the same here. Fugg.
Well at least I'm finishing my degree in half a year to year depending how well it goes. Would have finished it by now but I dedicated more time to that cunt in the last one and a half years than I should have. Figured, if she can make me actually happy, taking a slight bit longer won't kill me, right?
Fuck.
>>
>>41528483
Wish I could say I'm finishing my degree, I'm working at costco and thats about it, the pay and benefits are way too good for the job it is but im starting to feel trapped.

Considering just jumping into a trade school or something to learn a skilled trade, University is just too expensive.

Could be worse.
>mate becomes roommate with a dude he's known for 16 years or something

On the flip side you're more independent and prepared for the "real world" since you're living in it.
>>
>>41528434
I think these threads shouldn't apply to Californians. You need to be making bank to afford a decent house here. My friend is in construction and just said fuck it and is building his own house in land he bought in the boonies.

lmao at people thinking living alone is cool

>no expenses apart from some minor food here, gas and gym membership

i have no intentions of moving out as of yet unless i find a girl that i want to start a family with. in that case i already have in mind building a house. the only downside to living with parents is that bringing over girls gets weird but whatever. all of my friend that moved out as soon as they could are still struggling with bills.

On one hand, it seems silly to delay moving out for a dog, but on the other, it doesn't seem unreasonable to wait another 6-12 months for him to pass away. Advice pls.

It's not the worst but it's not the best.

I could financially move out, but with rent being about $300AU per week on the low end around here, I'd rather squirrel that money away and save for a deposit on a home. The property market here is fucked
>>
>>41528651

same but im going to college. live in a nice house and everything is paid for. i actually like the setup, just wish i had more privacy
>>

No they're not anon
>>
>>41528678
It definitely is mate. It's the same price to buy a house and pay it off weekly than to rent one.
>>
>>41527262
leaving the house at 18 is a meme
>>
>24
>Live at home with family

Its not that bad desu i have my own freedom and get them hot meals which have been lovingly put together. I only pay rent and do some housework in return, if you really think moving out makes you independant you have alot to learn. Plus the saving game is unreal.
>>
>>41528678
you could always rent and sublet a room

make sure you're putting that 15k extra into super for a house deposit
>>
>>41528680
Probably not doable unfortunately. I'd more than likely move into a small apartment closer to the city, and would be out most of the day too.
>>
>>41528651
I'm in the same situation but with two dogs. I can't take mine with me as I'll be moving overseas and don't want to put them through the stress of travel then deal with landlords. So I'm option out on leaving. I got the dogs knowing that I have a responsibility to them, others may not give a shit but I do. They have been good to me so I will stay and care for them.
>>
>21
>did not aquire a skill that allows him to support himself in life.
Get a job, if necessary ask your parents for some financial support equivalent to what you cost them now. Show some effort and any reasonable father will appreciate an be glad to help his son become a man
>>
>>41528834
Put the dogs down anon. They're fucking animals, not your best friend. You either bought them or someone gave them to you for free. They can easily be replaced
>>
>>41528641

Is this a serious post?
>>
>>41528590
You are a burden on your parents. Part of that 450k you owe your parents.
Also I couldn't see my son as equal if he needs my financial support at this age. Even less so if he doesn't need it but still takes it
>>
>>41528232
That s sad and nothing to boast about. Learn a trade.
>>

Not even in Cali - Sydney and what he says isn't far off. Unless you can avoid public transport, poor minority infested shitholes are the only cheap places around and that's because they are dangerous. I have numerous extended family members living here from London saying the same thing.

Fucking yanks complaining about paying 600 a month...try paying 800 minimum a week for a 3 bedroom, I literally cannot afford to leave home. Fuck the chinks driving up house prices, i just want to be independent but instead i stuck at home depressed and cant get out
>>
>>41529080
Ding ding ding. This mentality is entirely American and what most don't recognise, like mass immigration, it's designed to rob the middle class of wealth and promote extreme individuality. Much of the reason, even though they don't know it, that this generation is so fervent in it's support of socialism is because their parents bought into this mentality, threw them out at the coddled age of 18 with fuck all life experience or skills and now they are forever alone and poor. It's so bad now that the mentality is so ingrained that investing into the family is seen as something weird, 1st generation Asian families do before their offspring becomes Westernized and are doomed to repeat the same process.

It doesn't help that school or university do nothing to promote real life skills or critical thinking. Keep throwing away those kids goyim. If they are back home in three years, it's not because the price of housing is unaffordable or the males are afraid of the consequences of making long term marital and financial commitments. Better yet, don't have any. We can always import more consume.. refugees to bolster the declining population and economy.
