I donate blood every 3 months and I'm back in the gym with no issues at all the day after.

It depends. Spic here, Im O negative and here is rare to find A/B blood types. Also, I dont know how is handled where you are op, but here, kids with cancer are the top priority for blood donations so you are saving a life. Go to the gym in the morning, donate on the afternoon and the next day you will be ok.

Jesus Christ you guys way over think recovery periods, your body isn't as fragile as you think. You'll know when you've over done it...as long as you don't feel weak you can hit the gym right after. And the only reason is because you won't have a good workout

I suggest eating steak/taking an iron supplement after with some vitamin c. The vit c will help the iron absorption and the iron will be used to rebuild red blood cells.

This should assist in recovery.
