>start lifting
>hear about how overdeveloped chest in relation to back can cause forward shoulders and head posture
>paranoid about this
>compensate by hitting back harder than chest
>turns out I have good erector and upper back genetics and bad chest genetics
>now have the opposite problem
>too much thorasic extension, have to forcibly pull chest down and keep neck neutral
>developed protruding ribs
>arms always pulled back and down, hiding my lats and bringing attention to my hips
How do I unfuck this? I row 225 strict but only bench 185
you're probably over analyzing and have body dysmorphia.

My posture is stuck like this until I intentionally force my rib cage down and flex my core. The muscular imbalance is there but only apparent if I'm not a fatass like now so a front and back seems kinda ineffectual. Tell me if you need one.

it does look a little odd, but it kind of resembles good posture. most people have to force their chest up and put their shoulders back.

In retrospect I'm not sure why I was concerned about possibly having forward posture in the first place considering I've been active and involved in stuff like gymnastics and martial arts since I was little.

Just cut back on back stuff until your chest catches up.

Im imagining a anterior thoracic tilt? Holy shit that's weird.
Lay off back for one week and go from there. Mystery solved
hit incline bench hard AF and get on the cable cross for upper and lower tris

thats a hip problem, not a "too much back" problem.

The routine "fierce 5 intermediate" is balance for this exact reason. I recommend doing that program and not subbing anything out. Keep doing back as normal but go see an elite physics therapist and they will give you tips on how to correct it.

I don't believe you row 225 or bench 185
>>41516631
Benching 185 is really easy, I look like shit and bench 225
>>41515060
I'm so glad they brought the macncheetos back, my favorite fucking cheat meal
>>41516631
I don't believe you're over 6'0
