It's the only food I can take 2 spoonfuls of and then feel overwhelmed by it. Sickly isn't quite the word, but it's a similar reaction. It dominates my throat and other lewd things.

Oatmeal is a cereal, it's the main component of muesli. You can find it in any supermarket, I bet.

Porridge is a meal made with oats. You can eat them "whole" like any other cereal with milk. It's not very tasty, that's why muesly is sprinkled with sweed pieces of fruit like raisins and whatnot.
